The Legacy was formed to preserve and catalog the works of James Fitzgerald, a resident of Maine’s Monhegan Island for much of his later years. His works are found in museums and private collections throughout the country, and this non-profit organization wishes to keep his art in the public eye.
Tebo Design Studio created a website that allows the art to speak first. The navigation and support graphics were purposely kept simple and sparse so as to not compete with this message.
The website was built around WordPress, and a seamless eCommerce solution was integrated to allow for the sale of books, DVDs, prints and notecards.
Tebo Design also supplied the Legacy with printed invitations featuring one of Fitzgerald’s paintings to promote the launch of the new site.
